Field archery is an exciting form of archery where targets are set at varying distances across woodland and natural uneven terrain. It offers a unique challenge, combining shooting skill with the ability to judge distance, adapt to changing light and navigate the landscape. These additional outdoor skills are often referred to as “fieldcraft” and they help make every course a little different.

Field archery is a sport for all ages and abilities whether you are picking up a bow for the first time or have years of experience. It can be competitive but it is also a friendly and sociable sport with archers often shooting together in mixed groups. Meeting new people and enjoying the outdoors are all part of the experience and novice or experienced, amateur or professional, you’ll be very welcome at our club.
